I am a Scottish artist living in Greater Manchester, who is mainly self taught and I have been painting for about ten years now.

Although I prefer to create abstract or design orientated artwork, what is produced over time varies. I use a wide range of medium - e.g. - oil, pastel, wax, Ink, etc. Bright colours and rich texture are often a key feature of my work.

I love experimenting with different materials, there is nothing more interesting than playing around simply to see what develops and of course - the end result.

The bigger the canvas the better as far as I'm concerned - however,

I do create artwork on various sized canvases to meet customer's needs. I love art and the freedom of expression which it provides

and favourite artists include Kandinsky, Pollock, Blake and two

very Popular English painters at the moment - Alison Johnson

and Stephen Conroy.
